Since 1951 Millard Towers has been supplying defense related applications; Civil Aviation installations, Navigational Aids, Security Towers and Environmental Monitoring Structures. Our performance critical structures are designed to specifically meet difficult environmental and logistical applications. Many of these units have been in maintenance free operation for over fifty years.

Millard Towers Limited (formerly Millard Electric) manufactures specially engineered designed towers for aeronautical, navigational and meteorological applications. Millard's main products include airport approach lighth1g towers, Instrument Landing System (ILS) support structures, Non-Directional Beacon (NDB) towers, Navigational towers and meteorological towers.

The Unique Technology of the airport approach lighting tower design is its frangibility, which allows the tower to collapse on accidental impact by an aircraft. Millard working with the Canadian Department of National Defense and the Department of Transport in, 1951, developed frangible airport approach lighting towers. The towers would have to be structurally sound to endure heavy wind and ice loading, jet blasts, provide, minimal deflection and support an individual climbing the tower as well as be lightweight, have low wind resistance and frangible.

The modular design, lightweight and case of transport of the Millard Tower make it ideal for additional applications as communication, navigation and meteorological towers.
