Our Strength

Millard Towers have been keeping the world on course for more than 40 years. Millard Towers are custom designers and manufacturers of elevated structures. Their products are used by governmental agencies and airports around the world. They are engineered to be frangible; fully rigid when they need to be but safely collapse if accidentally struck by a plane. Millard towers are manufactured from high strength, corrosive resistant aluminum and stand up to high winds and extreme icing. A patented design creates a hinging effect between the tower's vertical supports and its lattices, which upon forceful impact, allows the tower to buckle in the direction of the impacting aircraft, so the plane can fly safely over it. Millard aviation towers can be used to support windsocks, approach lighting and Instrument Landing Systems (ILS).
