Millard tower are used by marine agencies worldwide providing navigational aids to remote shipping lanes. They are made from aluminum and can stand up to more than 160kph (96mph) winds as well as sub-zero temperatures with ice and snow.
The towers are lightweight enough to be flown into remote locations by helicopter and easily erected on difficult and irregular surfaces such as rock and tundra.
Lights, fog horns and navigational beacons can be mounted directly to Millard�s �Tripod� design or lattice towers.
